Does Review Insights only analyze star ratings? #
No.
Review Insights analyzes both the star rating and the written review. This allows it to understand why customers gave a particular rating and identify specific strengths, weaknesses, and recurring issues.
How many reviews do I need before I can generate a report? #
Reports become more useful as more reviews are collected. While smaller datasets can still provide valuable insights, larger numbers of reviews allow the AI to identify trends with greater confidence and accuracy. You need a minimum of 10 reviews for reports to be generated and updated.
How often are my insights updated? #
I’d make it explicit so users understand why they may not see a new report immediately.
How often are my insights updated? #
Review Insights generates AI reports on a monthly basis to ensure each report reflects meaningful customer feedback rather than small day-to-day changes.
A new report will be generated when all of the following conditions are met:
- Your product has collected at least 10 customer reviews.
- At least 10 new reviews have been received since the previous report was generated.
- The current report is 30 days old and eligible for regeneration.
If your product hasn’t yet collected enough new reviews, your existing report will remain available until the next reporting cycle.
This monthly reporting schedule helps ensure your insights are based on a meaningful amount of new customer feedback while keeping recommendations stable and easy to track over time.
As reports are updated, you may notice new trends, updated recommendations, and changes to Product Health or Opportunity Scores.
Why did my Product Health score change? #
Product Health is recalculated whenever new customer feedback is analyzed.
Your score may change because:
- New reviews have been received
- Customer sentiment has improved or declined
- New recurring issues were detected
- Existing issues became less common
- AI confidence increased as more reviews were collected
What is an Opportunity Score? #
The Opportunity Score estimates the potential business impact of resolving a particular customer issue.
Higher scores indicate improvements that are expected to have a greater positive effect on customer satisfaction, product ratings, and overall business performance.
What does AI Confidence mean? #
AI Confidence indicates how certain the AI is that a particular finding accurately represents customer feedback.
Higher confidence generally means:
- More customers discussed the topic
- Feedback was consistent
- Strong supporting evidence exists
Lower confidence usually means additional customer feedback is needed before drawing conclusions.
