Amazon considers the following actions violations of its Customer Review policies:
- Posting reviews of your own product or a competitor’s product.
- Offering money, discounts, free products, refunds, or other compensation in exchange for a review.
- Offering reimbursement after a review is written and asking the customer to change or remove it.
- Using third-party services or review clubs that provide free or discounted products tied to reviews.
- Having friends, family members, or employees post reviews.
- Asking customers to modify or delete their reviews.
- Diverting negative feedback away from Amazon while directing positive feedback to Amazon.
- Manipulating product variations to aggregate reviews and inflate ratings.
- Including packaging inserts that request positive reviews or promise incentives for reviews.
Amazon requires that reviews remain authentic, unbiased, and voluntary.
How ReviewScanGo Operates Within These Guidelines #
ReviewScanGo is a post-purchase engagement and feedback collection system. It does not create, modify, incentivize, or manipulate reviews.
Specifically:
- ReviewScanGo does not post reviews on behalf of sellers.
- ReviewScanGo does not offer compensation in exchange for reviews. Free gifts are not offered in trade for a review.
- Free gifts or promotions are not conditional upon leaving a review. A review is never required to receive the free gift.
- ReviewScanGo does not request customers to edit or remove reviews.
- ReviewScanGo does not operate review clubs or discounted-review programs.
- ReviewScanGo does not interfere with product variation structures.
- Leaving product review on Amazon’s product detail page is completely optional and voluntary.
When Smart Review routing is enabled, customers may be presented with the option to leave a review. They are not required to do so, and no reward is tied to review submission. You can enable or disable the Smart Review feature any time in the campaign settings.
